Terms & Policies
PAYMENT POLICIES:
All payments for ARC coaching requests must be tendered in advance (see below). Payments are collected via Stripe, Paypal, and Venmo. Please direct your payment preference type to Atlas Readings LLC at the time of your discovery session. Please note that all payment transfers are done through third party platform(s) Stripe, Paypal, and Venmo, so please be familiar with the privacy policy and terms of use for these third party platforms. Atlas Readings LLC is not liable for any mishandling by these third party platforms. In the event of third party mishandling, your claim will be with Stripe, Paypal, or Venmo directly. Atlas Readings LLC does not accept checks or money orders. If your payment is not properly transferred due to deficiencies on your end, then Atlas Readings LLC will be entitled to the balance owed plus a 25% interest as an additional charge for the deficiency.
The payment policy for Atlas Readings LLC is as follows:
All sessions will be billed monthly. You will get an invoice for that month’s session on the 1st of the month.
You have until the 10th of that month to pay the invoice. Payments after the 10th will accrue a $20 late fee.
Any session canceled within 24 hours of the session (see cancellation policy below) will have the full amount of the cancelled session credited to the client to be applied to the coming month’s invoice.
CANCELLATION POLICY:
For in-person or video conference (virtual) sessions by appointment, to cancel you must send the cancellation notice to Atlas Readings LLC at least 24 (twenty-four) hours in advance of the appointment. Otherwise you will be required to pay the session price even if you do not show up for your session. Due to the client-centered nature of this business, cancellations are an enormous burden to manage. Thus, if you book a session, then Atlas Readings relies on your representation that you will fulfill your end of the arrangement.
For in-person and video conference (virtual) sessions that are canceled with 24 (twenty-four) hours notice, the full amount of that session will be credited to that client’s account. That credit will be applied to the coming month’s invoice.
SERVICE REQUESTED IS NOT TIME SENSITIVE:
You understand and acknowledge that the service you have requested is not urgent and that time is not of the essence. If, however, your inquiry is urgent or time-sensitive, then separate, additional, written arrangements need to be made with Atlas Readings LLC. If there are no such documented, written arrangements concerning the timing of delivery, then you hereby assure us that your request and needs are not time-sensitive.
REFUND POLICY:
Atlas Readings LLC values one-to-one personalized care, supported by a life-coaching point of view. You are requesting a life-coaching service tendered from experience, specialized knowledge, and personalized attention. Thus, all services are non-refundable. All service fulfillments are final. Nonetheless, Atlas Readings LLC wants to ensure that you glean the most value from your experience, and so if you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out. Atlas Readings LLC will be more than happy to attend to you and see what can be done to resolve any concerns you may have.
SCOPE OF LIFE COACHING SERVICES:
The services provided by Atlas Readings LLC are life coaching services and we strive to help you work on your goals for the future and create the life path you desire. The individual experience with Atlas Readings LLC in no way replaces professional counseling from a licensed counselor or therapist and cannot be relied upon in lieu of sound legal, medical, or financial advice from licensed or qualified professionals. Atlas Readings LLC in no way diagnoses problems, but rather, works with you to co-create creative and personalized perspectives for understanding your current situation, to help you come up with actions you can take to empower yourself in a way that will maximize your personal and professional potentials. Atlas Readings LLC strives to help you improve the quality of your life by tapping into your creativity and intuition. The role of such a life coach is supportive.
DISCLOSURE OF LIMITATIONS:
The life-coaching services of Atlas Readings LLC should never be used in place of professional counseling. Your packages and sessions cannot offer legal, medical, business, or financial advice nor does Atlas Readings LLC purport to do so. You should not rely on any such life-coaching service to make any decision that would affect your legal, financial, or medical condition. If your inquiry involves the law, finance, or medicine, then you should seek the advice of a licensed or qualified legal, financial, or medical professional. Also, life-coaching services by Atlas Readings LLC cannot replace qualified mental health care.
VIDEO READING RECORDING:
Atlas Readings LLC may, at your option, provide video conference consultations or sessions through third party platforms or hosts, such as Zoom. These video sessions may from time to time be recorded. If a video session is recorded, you will be put on notice in advance of the recording. You are entitled to a copy of the video recording, though processing and administrative charges may apply. Before consenting to a video session, please go over any questions or concerns you may have with Atlas Readings LLC. By commencing a video session, you are consenting to the terms herein. Likewise, please be advised that you are not permitted to record video sessions without express, written permission from Atlas Readings LLC. If you would like to record your video session, then please ask before doing so. Reasonable accommodation or arrangements can then be made accordingly.
CONFIDENTIALITY:
Atlas Readings LLC exercises reasonable diligence in maintaining the confidentiality of your sessions and will not voluntarily, knowingly, intentionally, or willfully disclose your identity or the contents of your sessions with us to third parties. However, if Atlas Readings LLC genuinely believes disclosure is required to: (1) prevent imminent harm or risk of harm to yourself or to another, (2) meet any applicable law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or (3) protect or defend Atlas Readings LLC against claims or threats of claims, then Atlas Readings LLC reserves the right to do so to the extent reasonably necessary. Please keep in mind that no legally recognized privilege exists between a life-coach and client the way a privilege might exist between an attorney and client, doctor and patient, husband and wife, or priest and penitent.
RESERVATION OF RIGHT:
From time to time, as would be ordinary for any business, Atlas Readings LLC may modify the Terms of Service and we reserve the right to do so at our discretion accordingly. The terms of your service with us will be bound by the terms applicable at the time your service was rendered.
